Add Somnofy to your account

If you want to connect a (new) Somnofy unit to your app account, you can do this by following the steps described in this article.

There are several reasons why you may want to connect a Somnofy device to an existing account:

    • You have given your Somnofy device to a family member or friend to let them test this unique tool. You may have removed your ownership of the device and now have received the Somnofy back.
    • You have purchased a new Somnofy device for another family member whose sleep analysis you want to monitor. In the Somnofy app, you can add a new device to your own user account and create a separate user account for your relatives.

    To add a (new) Somnofy device to your user account, follow these steps:

    1. Go to the menu by tapping the hamburger icon at the top left of the main screen.
    2. Select "Device" to open device settings.
    3. At the top right, you will find another hamburger icon that opens a list. This list contains all Somnofy devices linked to your account. Most likely, there is only one device for you, or none if you have temporarily given away your device.
    4. Tap the (+) icon at the top right to add a new device.
    5. Follow the instructions in the app to connect Somnofy to the WiFi network.
    6. Success!
