If you want to connect a (new) Somnofy unit to your app account, you can do this by following the steps described in this article.
There are several reasons why you may want to connect a Somnofy device to an existing account:
- You have given your Somnofy device to a family member or friend to let them test this unique tool. You may have removed your ownership of the device and now have received the Somnofy back.
- You have purchased a new Somnofy device for another family member whose sleep analysis you want to monitor. In the Somnofy app, you can add a new device to your own user account and create a separate user account for your relatives.
To add a (new) Somnofy device to your user account, follow these steps:
- Go to the menu by tapping the hamburger icon at the top left of the main screen.
- Select "Device" to open device settings.
- At the top right, you will find another hamburger icon that opens a list. This list contains all Somnofy devices linked to your account. Most likely, there is only one device for you, or none if you have temporarily given away your device.
- Tap the (+) icon at the top right to add a new device.
- Follow the instructions in the app to connect Somnofy to the WiFi network.
- Success!
