The device requires stable wireless internet (Wi‑Fi) in the room in order to function. Check that the room(s) where the device is to be used have this in place in advance.
The vast majority of users have access to Wi‑Fi in their rooms today, but the quality of the wireless network may vary. To check this, you can enter the relevant rooms and test the connection to Wi‑Fi in advance to ensure it is strong enough.
If Wi‑Fi is not available, it is possible to use a modem. Somnofy requires a 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi network and does not support routers that are 5 GHz only. Most small 4G/LTE routers with a SIM card that broadcast 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi are compatible.
