This article explains how to start monitoring a new patient
Step 1: Log in to health.somnofy.com
Step 2: Create a new subject

Scenario 1: The old and new subjects are in the same room
Step 6: Choose the right Subject
Now, you can connect the Somnofy device with the new subject.

Scenario 2: The old and new subjects are in different rooms
Step 3: Move the Somnofy device
If the new patient sleeps in another room, Somnofy must be moved to a new room. If you have to mount a new wall mount, you can get a refresher on how to do this here.
Step 4 (opt): Move the Somnofy device to the correct zone
If the rooms belong to different zones, these steps need to be done:- Under Administration and Devices, find the device you want to use. Click on the device.
- Under "Device Information" and "Zone", click the down arrow and select the correct zone.
- If the device is already connected to an (old) subject, a warning that the connection to the service recipient will be removed. Click OK.
- If you have named Somnofy as the room number, this must be changed under "Information about the unit" and "Name". Name Somnofy the new room number.
Step 5: Choose the right subject
Now, you can connect the Somnofy device with the new subject.
Step 6: Set maximum distance
If the Somnofy unit has been installed in a new room, it is important that the distance setting is correct. Measure the distance from Somnofy's head to the end of the bed, and set this distance under "Device Settings" to "Maximum Distance".
Congratulations! You have successfully changed the monitored subject.
